I had a great Halibut Dinner and friendly service that night, and was glad they were within walking distance of our hotel.

So good, although it gets extremely busy the workers here are prompt to take your order and make sure you receive your meal while it’s still hot. I’d come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for great food.

Location and view. Historical diner. Not fancy but direct lake seating and great views.

This review is based on the customer service. (However when I've been there in the past, the food was fine) I just called to ask about their gluten-free options. The manager got out the box to look at ingredients for me. She also recommended that we go to the Issaquah location to get more gluten free menu options, like grilled fish. I really appreciated it.

For vegetarian it’s a big no but for sea food lover it’s a big Yesssssssssss!!!!I have given this rating because I am a vegetarian so ..... think before you go

Absolutely love Ivar’s! It’s exactly what you want on a beautiful day down by the water! My recommendation is the cod and fries to go and walking down the dock to sit on the water!

The seafood is great. We had fried clam strips and fish and Chips. Everything was delicious but the best thing on the menu were the fried green beans. Super crispy and delicious breading on them. Wow I couldn't stop eating them. At this location you can sit right buy the water and that makes the meal much more special. Wish there were Ivar's in California.

The food is awesome, but unfortunately today there was a lack of help and the food took longer to prepare than normal so my lunch was spent eating at my desk rather than enjoying the sunshine and scenery I had planned.

Great atmosphere, right on the water, watched the sunset. Not congested with too many people either.

This is a great location, in Gene Coupon Beach Park, on Lake Washington. Indoor and outdoor seating. The line can get pretty long on warm, sunny days.

I liked this place more so for the atmosphere - being in the park by the lake in a partially open restaurant. I had the salmon fish and chips, which tasted good enough, but again the 4 star is based on location. You can see the Boeing 737 plant across the lake from Ivar's.

Good service. Ok prices. Small fish pieces. Taste was good, just wish the pieces were a little bigger.

I LOVE this Ivar's! It's right on Lake Washington and the food is great. Unfortunately I devoured the food before I thought of taking a photo - so all you can see is the leftover wrappers and the start of the sunset.Pro Tip - Stop at Kidd Valley first and get a shake to go with your fish. YUM

Fun location and the food was really good. Employees were great. Gave really good suggestions on what to get and found ways to save us money. We had the chowder of course and tried their spicy fish and chips. Would recommend both. Got Mac and cheese for our 2 year old thinking he would not like the rest but he loved it all and the mac and cheese was taken to go.

Arrive early and order the halibut before they sell out. 3 pieces is the best (vs 2) as the 3rd piece is only $2 more

Chowder was good. Halibut crust a bit undercooked. Coleslaw a bit sweet. Restrooms were a pain to get to. Had to walk over to kid valley. 😬

One of my favorite places to come to. For the most part there’s always seating. Clean friendly atmosphere is an always occurrence. The time it takes to get the food is completely satisfying, you get time to look around but doesn’t take ages to get. Whenever I’m walking around playing my mobile game😉 (can’t mention the game name) I enjoy swinging by and grabbing some Salmon and Chips. If you’re in the area definitely give it a try.

When we return to our hometown each year, we stop here. Ivar's casual seafood is excellent in itself but this location, in Gene Coulon Park, makes it awesome. The restaurant is on a dock in Lake Washington. The whole place is comprised of roll-up glass doors. On nice days, they are all open. The views are fantastic - seaplanes, sailboats, kayaks, fishermen out on the lake. This place is special to the community so plan around crowds. We went today, Tues, and found plenty of parking and no line.

We liked to go to this Ivar for lunch when we are on the boat in Lake Washington. Our last visit was two weekend ago. I noticed that the board walk was new. I gave this 4 stars because we waited for a little more time on our last visit but other than that I will still recommend this place.

Newly remodeled Ivars is back!! So good, fish and chips all day, you can't go wrong! They've streamlined the service to help with congestion at the counter. Parking is always a challenge, however it's well worth walking a small distance since the lake and park are absolutely beautiful. Such a great and inexpensive place for a fun dinner and walk!

Food is good but the view is the best.

If you're looking for a quick fish and chips style dinner then this is the place! There is a great selection of Cod, Halibut, Salmon and other fried seafood options. They also have associated sauces pairing nicely with the fish and chips. The view overlooking the lake is to die for! The restaurant sits within a park that is a hot spot for siteseers and joggers. You can have your choice of indoor or outdoor dining while watching the ducks and fish all within arms length. Hotel options are also within a nice walk.

Good fish and chips. It's panko breaded not beer battered. But I really enjoyed the meal. Try the garlic drizzle and sweet tartar sauce. Service is great.

The woman taking my order wouldn't smile and wasn't very friendly. I felt rushed although it wasn't busy
